| Ocean County, New Jersey, with offices in the town of Toms River, has successfully implemented the NewVision Official Records System. Ocean County represents the sixth installation of the Official Records System, and the first in the State of New Jersey.
The County implemented all of the major system modules, including Recording, Scan, Index/Verify, System Administration and Reports. In addition, the County plans to implement the NewVision Web and the NewVision Plat/Map modules in the first quarter of 2000.
The system was customized to meet the unique recording, indexing and search requirements for the County and the State. The system runs under the Oracle relational database, and is the first NewVision Official Records System implementation of this database. Indexing data for the previous nine years was converted from the previous system, a Wang LandTrak implementation. |
