The process starts with the cashier workstation. It's equipped with a receipt slip printer and cash drawer. After entering the customer's information, the cashier feeds the first page of the document into the printer, where a barcode and other information are printed on it.
The NewVision Official Records System can handles a variety of document types, including deeds, mortgages, plats and death certificates. The appropriate fees and taxes are automatically calculated at the cashier station. The cashier module supports a variety of payment types. With the dedicated printer, it also provides check endorsement, receipt printing and document stamping.
